I'd like to get ahold of copies of some of Todd's shows. Can we set up a trade or a B&P?
If you have a copy of a show I don't have an audio or video copy noted on the archives, I will definitely make a trade with you. If you request a trade or a B&P and I don't respond, it's nothing personal. It just means I'm way too busy right now. I'm kind of hit and miss. If you happen to email me at a time when I can swing it, I'll be glad to do what I can for you.
How did you get ahold of all of those recordings?
Through a few years of trading with other collectors.
Will you be posting anything in audio format that we can download?
I doubt it. My site host has a cap on how much people can transfer from the site. If I posted audio, I'm sure I would go over that limit. If you are familiar with bittorrent, take a look at Dime a Dozen. Many Todd Snider fans, myself included, post shows there occasionally. If you have a hard time getting an account, keep trying -- eventually you'll get one.
Can I buy copies of Todd's shows from you?
No way.
Are you running this site just to build up your own collection of Todd Snider's shows?
When this archive began, I had collected well over 100 recordings of Todd Snider's shows through many months of trading with other collectors and tapers. This site was originally intended as a log of the shows that I had collected -- for my personal reference. As long as people find it useful, it will stay up and running with continuous updates and information useful to fans of Todd Snider's music. As for using it to build my collection -- it was already built.
Can I use the pictures on this site on my web page or for cover art for my CDs?
The images included on this site are not mine. They have been generously provided by various Todd Snider fans across the country. Credit has been given for photographs when that information is available. Please do not reproduce any of the photographs on this site without permission from the original owners.
How do you keep all of those recordings organized? Have you really listened to each and every one?
Yes, I have listened to each one...at least once. As for keeping them organized, it's a matter of jewel cases and some occasional spare time on my hands...
