It All Adds Up
Long Haired Country Boy [Charlie Daniels]
The second of two consecutive nights at the same venue. Maybe it's got something to do with two nights in the same place in front of a lot of the same people, but Todd doesn't seem to be on the top of his game for this show -- he sounds pretty run down.
On Sideshow Blues:
"It's so hard to kick the door down when you ain't wearin' no shoes."
On Talkin' Seattle Grunge Rock Blues:
"...along came this band that wasn't even together. Now that's alternative. They're called Uncle Tupelo."
"...pack up the van, move out to California and follow Country Joe McDonald around."
