NOTES
A quick skip in the recording at 1:38 of Horseshoe Lake

Todd recorded this show in an attempt to record songs for a live album. He wasn't happy with Beer Run the first time around so he decides to "play the sumbitch again." Todd's Bob Dylan impression at the end of Keep Off the Grass is a little more exaggerated than usual. Second and third verses of Alright Guy are reversed. Robert Earl Keen pipes in for the last few lines of both takes of Beer Run. Recorded on Fathers' Day, it's somewhat surprising that Missing You was not played.

On Sideshow Blues:

  • "It's hard to kick the door down when you ain't wearin' no shoes."

On Talkin' Seattle Grunge Rock Blues:

  • "...shave off these goatees, pack the fan, move back to Austin, Texas. Buy myself a vintage western shirt, biker chain wallet, and a prescription to No Depression magazine."

On Alright Guy:

  • "Now one time, and it was only for medicinal purposes, but they made me smoke some dope. I figure I could probably still be president but that blows any shot I ever got of becoming the pope. I know I get wild, I'm already half-drunk..."
