One He Finds Us

After a day of rain, this outdoor performance was moved underneath a bridge/overpass. Todd comes on stage clearly confused. After two songs: "I don't want to go any further into my portion of the program without thanking whoever invited me to come sing under this bridge to come sing under this bridge..." A car drives over the bridge as Todd is introducing D.B. Cooper -- he says "it starts with a car revvin' its engine real fast. Then it kinda slides into this guitar part." After Statistician's Blues, several people in the crowd yell out for Beer Run -- Todd jokes with a couple kids in the front asking if it was them who was yelling "Beer Run." He follows by playing Beer Run and dedicating it to the kids.

On Ballad of the Devil's Backbone Tavern:

  • "Come over here you little so-and-so that I can't say in front of all these kids and let me pour you a beer."

On Alright Guy:

  • "I know I'm dirty and everybody knows I used to smoke a lot of dope."
